LLH network pressOver the years, I have been very fortunate to receive masses of important information regarding just about every subject that you can imagine.  The information is so good that I felt that I really needed to share it. Therefore, I have decided to create a new space on the Let Life Happen website where I can now share this information with those who wish to avail themselves of it at their own convenience.

The new information can be viewed under the tab “In the News”.  Yesterday, I posted the first article on the site and did share it out through the various social media sites of which I am a part.  I appreciate the feedback that I have received and for those who have already contacted me, I want you to know that you have reinforced my belief that this was something that would enhance the value of the site in many ways.

There are so many wonderful things happening in so many arenas but unless we know about it, it means nothing to us.

The site will be an eclectic collection of information.  For instance, I will continue to read and review books that pertain to subjects related to cancer and domestic abuse and other subjects that are still connected to the core objective of the website.  But, often I receive information about books that I would love to read but simply do not have the time to do so.  In such cases, I will be sharing out the information provided to me if I believe that our group of people would be interested in the subject matter and you can decide as I do whether it is something in which you are interested.

Other things that may be featured are reflected by the first posting which talks about the month of May being Huntington Disease Awareness Month.  I found the information that I received to be of great interest in the way in which I was able to learn so much more about this disease.  I am also aware that the people that are dealing with this disease face many of the same types of issues that those of other diseases including cancer may also face.  There is the testing, the diagnosis, the search for information, the sharing with the family and the determining of the long-term effects and care that will be needed.  No matter the disease, we can still share how we are being affected, the problems that we face and the ability to reach out to a community for the request of help.

My intention is to do a daily posting to this site.  I will hopefully be sharing information that imparts some sort of value to the readers.  There are so many wonderful things happening in so many arenas but unless we know about it, it means nothing to us.  I am of the belief that the more we know, the better position we are in to make decisions regarding our own lives and the lives of our families and those who matter most to us.  I also am well aware that by sharing out information on subjects that we have limited knowledge, we will also be able to have that information enhanced by others who have more knowledge about the topic being discussed.  If you have any comments about the information posted or items that you would like to have addressed, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will do my best to fulfill those requests.  Welcome to “In the News” at the Let Life Happen Network.
