On October first, Giftgowns is once going pink for their Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign. The campaign will run for the duration of the month and is aimed towards raising money and donating Giftgowns to patients currently going through Breast Cancer treatment. Gowns will be distributed through Wellspring and 20% of proceeds from Giftgowns’ Women’s Cancer Awareness Gown, the Brave Gown, will be going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Giftgowns is rethinking the hospital gown. Inspired by founder Jackie Moss’ own personal experience, the Giftgowns are designed specifically with patients in mind. With snaps along the shoulders for IV access and along the back for coverage, soft 100% cotton fabric, and two pockets, Giftgowns are fashion meets function.
Their gowns are available in a wide variety of designs and even allow you the option to customize your own with a photo, graphic, or favourite saying. “We are dedicated to improving the hospital experience and providing patients an opportunity for self-expression,” states founder Jackie Moss.
The Brave Gown for women’s cancer awareness was designed specifically designed to support women going though cancer treatment. The words on the gown were specifically chosen to support women and to help them feel more positive during this time.
Giftgowns are currently sold online via www.giftgowns.com and in hospital gift shops across Canada
