California-Made Gaslamp Popcorn Announces Support of Breast Cancer Research Via Komen Events

Gaslamp Popcorn, a leader in small batch, handcrafted gourmet popcorn, has announced its partnership with Susan G. Komen®. This year, throughout California, areas of Nevada and Texas, consumers, too, can demonstrate their support by attending Susan G. Komen-hosted events, where Gaslamp Popcorn will be sampling its clean label Malibu Mix popcorn in vend size bags. The brand’s responsibility to the community aligns well with Susan G. Komen’s commitment to furthering the research toward finding a cure for breast cancer, and consciously crafted Malibu Mix is the ideal way to help amplify the message.

“We’re honored to be part of the solution in the fight against a cause that touches so many of us. Partnering with such a noteworthy organization as Susan G. Komen has allowed us to care for the community in a very concerted way,” shares Kathryn Amatriain, Marketing and Innovation Manager for Rudolph Foods. “Showing current Gaslamp Popcorn fans, as well as those new to the brand, that we genuinely care for the community is an important part of our core values.”

Gaslamp Popcorn can be seen sampled at this year’s Susan G. Komen events by the organization’s major chapters, including San Diego, CA, Fresno, CA, Irvine, CA, Murrieta, CA, San Francisco, CA, Reno, NV and Dallas, TX. A donation of 100,000 bags to be shared with event attendees and participants at local Race for the Cure® events, 3-Day® walks, mammography events and more.

Gaslamp Popcorn’s partnership with Susan G. Komen has ultimately allowed the brand to do its part in advocating for breast cancer research, while educating consumers about the inherent health benefits of whole grains, such as those found in popcorn. As a naturally gluten-free snack, each of Gaslamp Popcorn’s varieties uses only non-GMO corn and pure cane sugar. Consumers have made their voices heard: true transparency starts with the people behind the brand and ends with a clean label, both of which Gaslamp is comprised.
